1. For goods whose port of destination is Dammam or transited through Dammam, the correct and complete information of the consignee must be displayed on the bill of lading and manifest, and the consignee's company must be true and valid, including: a) Consignee name b) Consignee address c) P.O. Box d) Telephone number e) Fax Otherwise, the goods may be shipped back to the port of loading.
2. The goods transferred to the destination port of Riyadh via Dammam must be reinforced with pallets. If pallets are not used for reinforcement, the customs will impose a fine of SAR 1000.00 (USD 267.00) /20', SAR 1500.00 (USD 400.00) / 40'.
3. It is required that the origin of the goods must be indicated on the shipping mark, and the customs in Jeddah, Dammam, and Riyadh will forcefully return the goods that do not indicate the origin to the port of departure.
4. Cargo sorting data should be truthfully declared.
5. For goods prepaid by sea, if there are other charges collected locally in Saudi Arabia, the charges must be listed on the bill of lading. Goods paid by ocean freight are not included in this regulation
6. For goods destined for RIYADH, the total weight of a 20-foot container shall not exceed 24 tons. Once it is found to be overweight, the local railway department will force the cargo to be refitted into a 40’ container and an additional fee of USD500.0 will be charged.

7. Please ensure that all items of the goods are correctly labeled according to the standard requirements of the Saudi Customs. The country of origin must be engraved or embossed on the item itself, otherwise the shipment will be held by customs and sent to the port of origin.

1. Any chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and communication equipment sent to Leyard without prior approval, the sender will bear all fines and the cost of returning the goods.
2. Please note that for high-value goods sent to Saudi Arabia (value equal to or higher than 13,000 US dollars), the following documents required for customs clearance need to be attached: certified original invoice, certified certificate of origin (goods above 13,000 US dollars). In addition, the recipient should provide a copy of the business registration form and an authorization letter. If the above documents are not provided, the customs clearance time will be delayed and a fine will be imposed, and the sender will bear the corresponding fine.
